Recently, Best Egg hosted our first Paint Night fundraiser. Paint Night encouraged employees, friends and family of the company to come together for a great cause and enjoy each other’s company. The event hosted by Crimson Pallets, was a huge success and encouraged the Best Egg team to channel their inner Van Goghs all while giving back to a great cause.
Last year, the company decided to become an active supporter and participant of the Light the Night event in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). In our inaugural year, our employees helped us to become the largest corporate donor for the event.
This year, we decided to get a head start and chose Paint Night as a new fundraising event in support of LLS. To raise funds, all participants were charged a small fee for their painting project and all the proceeds went to LLS. The LLS has raised over $1.3 billion to continue research and discover a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma. We wanted to help their mission and with this event, Best Egg raised $700 in support of the foundation.
Though Paint Night may sound a bit daunting to those who are not as creative as their Pinterest boards may make them seem, our team was left in good hands with Crimson Pallets. Upon registration, participants were prompted to choose a design they wanted to complete on a wooden pallet canvas. With that, a stencil was created and ready to go upon arrival at the event. A range of stencil designs were offered to appeal to everyone’s creative eye and to give the creatively challenged some egg-stra help.
The party didn’t stop with the paintbrushes. As participants spent the evening crafting, raffle tickets were available to win more prizes to take home in addition to their homemade décor. Raffle tickets were available for purchase to win a Rodan and Fields skincare gift basket, and a top of the line Hon desk chair. All proceeds from the raffle tickets contributed to Best Egg’s donation to LLS.
Best Egg is dedicated to making the world a better place for everyone. This fundraiser is just one of the many ways we contribute to our philanthropic initiative and we get to have a little fun in the process. Employees are active in supporting local efforts including Junior Achievement, The Ronald McDonald House and Bancroft Elementary School. Paint Night was another way to bring the Best Egg family together while supporting an incredible cause.
