Auto Pay Terms & Conditions
Reviewed February 2026
Please review these Auto Pay Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) before enrolling. These Terms explain how Auto Pay works for your Best Egg Credit Card account (“Account”).
How Auto Pay Works
Auto Pay allows you to schedule recurring ACH monthly payments that will be automatically debited from the bank account you provide during enrollment. Your Auto Pay payment will be debited each month on the Payment Date, which is the date you select during enrollment and is also the Payment Due Date as shown on your monthly statement. If the Payment Date falls on a non-business day, your payment will be debited on the next business day.
Payments received through Auto Pay will be credited to your Account as of the scheduled Payment Date.
You may enroll in Auto Pay at any time. However, for the Auto Pay payment to apply to your next payment, you must enroll the day before your Payment Due Date. Otherwise, Auto Pay will begin on the following Payment Due Date, and you will need to make a one-time payment on or before your next Payment Due Date to keep your account current and avoid late fees.
We reserve the right to cancel your Auto Pay enrollment if an ACH payment is returned, and we may reject any payment that would create or increase a credit balance on your Account.
By enrolling in Auto Pay, you confirm that you are authorized to initiate recurring ACH payments from the designated bank account.
Your Payment Amount Options
You can choose one of the following Payment Amount options when enrolling in Auto Pay.
Minimum Payment
Selecting this option authorizes us to debit the Minimum Payment Due, as shown on your monthly statement, which is the minimum amount you must pay us by the applicable Payment Due Date for your account to remain in good standing.
The amount automatically debited will not be reduced if payments, returned purchases, or other credits are applied to your Account before the Payment Date. By choosing this option, you authorize us to debit your bank account for the Minimum Payment Due each month on the Payment Date.
Statement Balance
Selecting this option authorizes us to debit the Statement Balance, which is the total amount you owe as of the closing date of the billing cycle and is shown on your monthly statement as New Balance.
The amount automatically debited may be reduced if payments, returned purchases, or other credits are applied to your Account before the Payment Date.
By choosing this option, you authorize us to debit your bank account for the Statement Balance each month on the Payment Date.
Other Amount
Selecting this option authorizes us to debit a fixed dollar amount that you enter during enrollment.
If the Minimum Payment Due for a month is higher than your selected fixed Other Amount, we will adjust your Auto Pay to the amount of your Minimum Payment Due for that month.
By choosing this option, you authorize us to debit your bank account for the Other Amount (as adjusted above, if applicable) each month on the Payment Date.
Managing or Canceling Auto Pay
You may manage or cancel Auto Pay at any time through your online Best Egg account. You may also cancel by calling the number on the back of your credit card or using chat in your online Best Egg account.
Edits or cancellation of your next scheduled Auto Pay payment must be made by 4:00 p.m. ET on your next Payment Date. Otherwise, the change will take effect beginning with your following Payment Date.
Notices About Your Auto Pay Payments
Required Advance Notice of Varying Amounts
You have the right to receive written notice at least 10 days before a debit if the amount will vary from the preauthorized amount. By enrolling in Auto Pay, you agree that you will only receive this notice if:
- you selected the Statement Balance option and the amount to be debited exceeds the New Balance as shown on your monthly statement; or
- you selected the Minimum Payment or Other Amount option and the amount to be debited exceeds the Minimum Payment Due as shown on your monthly statement.
