An Annual Percentage Rate (APR) includes both the interest rate and any fees, like an origination fee. Best Egg offers fixed APRs to express the cost of borrowing money.

Best Egg offers simple interest loans. Simple interest is calculated on the outstanding principal balance only. This means you aren’t paying interest on top of your interest like credit cards.

There is a one-time origination fee that is included in the principal loan amount, and is deducted from the amount deposited into your bank account.

Other fees: There is a $15 returned payment fee if your money does not get processed (returned checks or insufficient funds in your bank).
