Best Egg Financial Health now includes Debt Manager and Money Manager, in addition to the platform’s existing Credit Manager function. These resources remain free to anyone, regardless of whether they have a Best Egg loan or other credit product.
Introduced in December 2021, Best Egg Financial Health has been offering consumer users free access to their VantageScore® credit score, accompanied by monthly updates, credit report alerts, in-depth credit score insights, financial calculators, and a Knowledge Center full of actionable financial education. Among these, the credit score update feature, which alerts consumers about score fluctuations, stands out as a consumer favorite.
The platform’s new Debt Manager tool gives consumers an overview of their debt and helps them understand their options, make better decisions, and stick to a paydown plan. It also allows them to explore different scenarios and paydown strategies to see how they could save money on interest and pay off debt faster.
Money Manager gives users a holistic view of their finances to help them spend less and save more. Users can view all their accounts and transactions in one place, including savings, checking, credit cards, and investments. Money Manager generates customized budgets for users based on 90 days of spending patterns with progress alerts throughout the month. Furthermore, Money Manager delivers individualized insights, such as alerts for unusual bills, subscription payments, detected fees, and suggestions for “no spend” days. It even provides weekend spending summaries and highlights non-essential expenditures.
